第16届亚洲运动会科学大会征文通知

由国家体育总局、第16届亚运会组委会和中国体育科学学会联合主办,广州体育学院承办的第16届亚洲运动会科学大会将于20101010-12日在广州举办。会议的主题是:亚洲体育:科学与发展。会议将邀请境内外知名体育科学研究专家做大会报告,并向亚洲各国与地区学者征集论文,具体通知如下:

二、论文有关信息

(一)论文摘要提交类型:口头发言、墙报。

口头发言:每人12分钟发言,3分钟答疑。

墙报国际惯例的墙报尺寸规格(ISO216):宽 0.84,高 1.18。墙报论文作者需在规定时间到场回答问题

(二)论文提交要求

1、论文语言:英语是大会的官方语言

2、论文作者必须用英语完整地填写《论文摘要提交表》(Abstract Submission Form)所要求提供的信息(中国大陆学者在提交英文摘要的同时应提交中文摘要)和《注册表》(Registration Form)

3、每个作者以第一作者身份投稿不超过2篇。

(三)英文论文摘要格式:

摘要的基本格式:摘要的正文不超过600(包括图表,表格仅限用三线表)。

纸张:A4( 297 毫米 x 210 毫米 )白纸,最多1页;左、右、上、下边距各 2.0cm

题目(Title):Times New Roman 14号字体,大写加粗,左对齐,单倍行距。

作者(Authors):Times New Roman 12号字体,加粗,左对齐,单倍行距;每个作者先写名,再写姓。

作者工作单位(Authors Institution):Times New Roman 9号字体,左对齐,单倍行距。所属机构书写顺序是:所属机构、系、部门、城市和国家。(一行写一个机构名称并与作者相对应)。

正文(TextTimes New Roman 10号字体,两端对齐,单倍行距;结构是:目的(Introduction)、方法(Methods/Methodology)、结果(Results)、讨论或结论(Discussion/Conclusion)

表格和图形(Tables & Graphs):参照APAAmerican Psychological Association)(第五版)的格式。图表格中的数据不能在文章中重复出现。

(四)中文论文摘要格式:

摘要的基本格式:摘要的正文不超过1000(包括图表,表格仅限用三线表)。

题目—三号黑体字,顶行,左对齐,单倍行距,最多2行。

作者—四号黑体字,左对齐,单倍行距;作者次序按对论文研究成果的贡献大小依次排列。

作者工作单位及联系方式—小四号黑体字,左对齐,单倍行距。不同作者的工作单位可按顺序依次列出,不必分行,并附第一作者的联系方式。

摘要正文—五号宋体字,行距1.5倍。结构为:目的,方法,结果,讨论或结论。分部分叙述,各部分间不必空行。

目的: 有关研究项目的简介。方法:描述项目的研究对象与方法。结果:通过相关数据展示项目的突出研究结果。讨论或结论:论文作者可根据相关参考文献,简要评论项目的突出研究成果。

(五)论文摘要提交方式:

    1、网上在线提交:通过网站注册后,按要求填写《论文摘要提交表》(Abstract Submission Form)后与论文摘要一起直接提交。

2、以电子邮件形式提交:从网站下载《论文摘要提交表》(Abstract Submission Form),按要求填写表格后,以附件形式(word 文档)将表格和论文摘要同时提交大会秘书处。

亚运会科学大会是亚洲最高规格的体育科学盛会。由国家体育总局、广州亚运会组委会和中国体育科学学会主办,广州体育学院承办的第16届亚运会科学大会将于 2010101012日在广州举行,来自亚洲近40多个国家和地区约600名体育科学学者、专家及亚奥理事会相关官员将出席会议。在为期3天的会议中,将围绕“亚洲体育:科学与发展”的会议主题,从运动医学、兴奋剂控制等专题进行学术交流。学术交流形式包括口头报告、墙报交流、书面交流和专题研讨。大会交流语言为英语。参会代表将全部入住紧邻的景星酒店。

(一)会场介绍——广州体育学院

广州体育学院是具有近60年历史的华南地区唯一一所体育高等学府。学校环境优美,场馆设施完备,以培养学士、硕士为主,并与其他大学联合招收博士研究生。

自创办以来,学校以“德厚学博,文精武杰”为校训,高度重视人才培养和科学研究,为中国体育的崛起与发展作出了很大的贡献。培养了大量体育专门人才,其中包括奥运会冠军、亚运会冠军及其他单项世界比赛冠军等优秀运动员。现有10多个国家教育部、体育总局的重点科研、培训基地及实验室。学校分别与美国、芬兰、越南等国家的10多所高校建立了合作关系,在校留学生100多名。

(二)广州概况

(三)签证信息

参加会议的官员和代表凭组委会签发的邀请函和本人有效旅行证件,到中国驻当地使、领馆申请中国入境签证。会议期间如需赴香港、澳门再回到中国大陆的会议代表,需申请2次以上入境签证。

旅游签证(L字签证):发给前来中国旅游、探亲或因其他私人事务来华的外国公民。L字签证为短期签证,一般有效期30天,不超过90天,不能延期。来华旅游的,原则上须提供有足够来华旅费的证明,必要时须提供离开中国后前往国家(地区)的机、车、船票。来华探亲的,必要时需提供有国内亲属的邀请信。

(四)交通

会议期间,组委会将为与会代表提供大会指定酒店至会场的免费交通。组委会也将为与会代表提供机场、火车站至会场、指定酒店和注册地点的免费接站服务。

The 16th Asian Games Science Congress: Call for Papers

 

 

The 16th Asian Games Science Congress, which is being jointly hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China, the
Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (GAGOC) and the,
China Sport Science Society, and organized by Guangzhou Sports University, will be held in Guangzhou, October 10-12, 2010.

 

The Congress, whose theme is Asian Sport: Science and Development, will  provide a unique opportunity for the organizers, academics, sports professionals and other Games stakeholders to share knowledge, discuss important issues and encourage lively debate on this most important topic. This exciting event will feature keynote speeches by sports researchers and other experts, and academics from all Asian countries and regions taking part in the 16th Asian Games are now warmly invited to submit discussion papers that may be presented at the Congress.

II. Papers Submission Information

 

1) Presentation of Abstracts – Two Options

 

Interested parties wishing to make themselves available to speak at the Congress will be asked to present their topics to the organizers beforehand. Proposals can be presented orally or in the form of a printed poster.

 

● Oral Presentations: Potential presenters will give a preview of their presentation to the organizers. Please note that presentations during the actual Congress will be limited to 12 minutes, followed by a 3-minute Q&A .session, so material should be prepared along these guidelines.

 

● Poster Presentations: The proposed topic can be delivered as a poster which can be read by attendees on site during the event. Authors will present their posters which,should be on AO-sized ( 841mm wide by 1189mm high) poster paper, as per international standards, (ISO216), to the organizers. Presenters will be required to discuss their work and answer questions within a given time period.

 

 

2) Requirements for Poster Submissions

 

1. All posters must be in English.

 

2. Authors should complete an Abstract Submission Form and Registration Form in English. Authors from mainland China should also provide a Chinese version of his or her abstract, in addition to an English one, as part .the submission.

 

3. Each author is permitted to submit a maximum of 2 abstracts.

 

3) Format for English Abstracts

 

Basic Format: The body of the abstract should contain no more than 600 words including figures and tables, where applicable. Only three-line tables will be allowed.

 

Paper: A4-sized white paper, (297x 210mm ) Margins: Left, Top, Bottom, Right margins should be 2.0cm .

 

Fonts:

 

Title: Times New Roman 14pt , bold, left-aligned, upper case, single-spacing

 

Author(s): Times New Roman 12pt , bold, left-aligned, single-spacing. The first and last names of the author(s) should be provided in the author block.

 

Author(s)’ Institution: Times New Roman 9pt , left-aligned, single-spacing.

All institutions at which the authors are based should be included. Institution information should be provided in the following order: Institution, Department, Section, City and Country. Each institution referring to a corresponding author should be identified by an index number and presented on a single line.

 

Text: Times New Roman 10pt , left-right justified, single-spacing.

 

Abstracts should adhere to the following structure using the following section headings:

          Introduction

          Methods/Methodology,

          Summary of Results

          Discussion/Conclusion

 

Tables and Graphs: Should be prepared following APA style (5th Edition). Tables should not duplicate results presented elsewhere in the material eg. in graphs.

5. Submission Procedures

 

1. Online Submissions: Authors can register their interest via the Congress website, by filling in the Abstract Submission Form using the above guidelines and include the abstract in their submission.

 

2. E-mail Submissions: Authors can download Abstract Submission Form from the Congress website, complete the form using the above guidelines and submit it to the Congress secretariat with an electronic version of the abstract (MS Word format) attached.

Entry fees include Congress registration, all materials and handouts and a welcome banquet. Accommodation and meals are not included in this price. VI. Information for Participants - Visa Applications, About Guangzhou:Host

City for the Games, Transport

 

The 16th Asian Games Science Congress, to be held before the Games commence, will be one of the most significant gatherings for sports academics, professionals and industry leaders in Asia . The Congress, jointly hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China, Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee and the China Sport Science Society, and organized by Guangzhou Sport University , will take place in Guangzhou October 10-12, 2010. Some 6000 sports scientists, experts and OCA officials are expected to attend this 3-day conference and present research, discuss important issues and encourage lively debate on the Congress theme - Asian Sport: Science and Development

 

The Congress will focus on the latest developments, research and future in a wide range of fields, from sports sciences to natural sciences. The Congress will include and offer spoken presentations, workshop discussions, symposiums, published reports and other written materials. The official language of the Congress will be English. Congress participants can stay at the Star Hotel Guangzhou, a four-star hotel adjacent to the Congress venue.

 

1. The Venue: Guangzhou Sports University

 

The venue for the Congress is Guangzhou Sports University (GSU). The, nearly 60 years’ old university is the institution of choice in Southern China for higher sports education and boasts a beautiful environment and advanced facilities. GSU mainly offers bachelor and master’s degrees in sports sciences and related fields and offers doctorate degrees to students recruited in conjunction with other universities.

 

Since its founding, GSU has always placed great importance on research in the field of sports sciences and drawn nothing but the very best from its students. The university has also made outstanding contributions to the development of sport in China , through nurturing and supporting top athletes at home and abroad, including those who have gone on to become Olympic, Asian Games and world champions. Currently, the institution is home to more than 10 scientific research centres, training bases and laboratories sanctioned by the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Sport of China. It also has some 100 foreign students currently studying on campus and enjoys close and friendly ties with universities world wide, including those in U.S. , Finland and Vietnam .

 

GSU’s motto is ”Noble in Morality and Learned in Knowledge, Proficient in Learning and Excellent in Sport”.

 

2. About Guangzhou : Host City for the 16th Asian Games Sports Science Congress

Guangzhou is a one of China ’s most important cities, reknown for its rich culture, beautiful scenery and vibrant economy . With a long history of over 2,200 years, the city was, the starting point for the Maritime Silk Road - the ancient trade route between China and the West over the sea - and spiritual home of Lingnan culture, Guangzhou has long been a prosperous city and one with the biggest potential for development in Southern China. The city is not only the capital of booming Guangdong Province but, today, also an important centre for finance and international trade in the region.

 

With its long history of trade and contact with the outside world that stretches back over 1000 years, Guangzhou is, and has always been, an open city that welcomes foreigners and today enjoys close ties with cities around the globe. Since China first began to implement economic reforms and open its doors to the world, Guangzhou has gone on to establish sister city relationships with 14 foreign cities and is now a member of the World Association of Major Metropolises.

 

Two sessions of the China Export and Import Commodities Trade Fair (Canton Fair) have been held in Guangzhou every year since 1957. In recent years, the city has received over 200,000 foreign merchants a year and seen business transactions worth over 30 billion US dollars a year take place. Each day, 1000s of officials, businessmen and tourists arrive in Guangzhou for work or travel, while  the city is home to millions of local and foreign born residents of who enjoy the city’s vibrant atmosphere, tranquil beauty and acceptance of different cultures and religions.

 

3. Visa Information

 

Foreign government officials and delegates wishing to attend the 16th Asian Games Sports Science Congress can use their official invitation letter, issued by the organizers, as a supporting document when applying for an entry visa to China . Applicants should lodge their applications at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in their home country or region. Attendees wishing to visit Hong Kong or Macau SARs during their stay in mainland China should apply for double or multiple entry visas.

 

Non-government officials or delegates wishing to attend the event can apply for a Tourist Visa (L Visa) to enter China . An L Visa is normally granted to visitors coming to China for sightseeing, to visit relatives or friends or other personal matters. An. L Visa is a short-term visa that permits the holder to stay normally for 30 days and no longer than 90 days, with no extension permitted. When applying for an L visa, applicants may be required to submit supporting documents to confirm income and if necessary, return air or sea tickets that confirm their departure from China at the end of their stay. Applicants wishing to visit family members should also submit invitation letters from them confirming the purpose of their trip.

 

4. Transport

 

A free shuttle bus service will operate between the Congress venue and the official hotel, during the event. A free pick up and drop-off service will also be available between event destinations and the airport and designated railway stations.

 

Guangzhou is located at the north end of the Pearl River Delta and, as the capital city of Guangdong Province , is one of the largest transport hubs in Greater China and Asia . The city boasts a convenient urban transport system that includes an extensive subway and rail network, buses, shuttle buses, taxis and long distance coaches. Guangzhou ’s Baiyun International Airport , one of the three largest in the region, has airlines offering flights to major cities locally and around the world including Hong Kong, Bangkok , Frankfurt, Kuala Lumpur , Manila , Melbourne , , San Francisco , Singapore , Sydney , Tokyo .
